The Pirates Team, Juanjo and Raquel, are the official Spanish selection for the 2014 UCI Para-Cycling World Championships taking place in Greenville, USA. If you have any friends in Southern Carolina August 28th to September 1st, 2014 tell them to go and cheer on The Pirates.

World Cup for Adapted Cycling
Eli is going to take part in the World Cup for Adapted Cycling. This is her first step up to the International scene. Something she could not have imagined two years ago. We wish her the best of good luck. See how she got on in 2012 in her first competition at the Spanish Championships in our short video "A tenth of a second".

Lee Chang-hoon is legally blind and a newsreader for South Korea’s biggest broadcaster KBS.The 27-year-old, the world’s first blind news anchor, uses a Braille instrument to read the news. Now seven months into the job, Lee says his biggest challenge is his posture and facial expressions on air as he cannot see what he looks like.

Our Unstoppable of December: Nacho Olmos

We believe his story will serve as an inspiration to many people.
Nacho’s brother, Manolo Olmos, lost his battle with cancer six years ago. At that point Nacho decided to get on a bike and cycle all over Spain – and afterwards around the world – to raise awareness on cancer and raise money to fund organisations set up to find a cure for it, like the AECC (Spanish Association Against Cancer).

Wright lost both of her legs in the Aldgate underground explosion in the 7/7 London bombings in 2005. She lost 80% of the blood in her body and was in a coma for ten days and had to undergo ten months of surgery following the injury.
